Terms of Use for Wedge and Dash

These terms apply to the Wedge and Dash app, made by Wedge and Dash ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you join the leaderboard, you confirm that you have read and accept them.
Who can use the app
The app is for people aged 13 and over. You may only join the leaderboard if you are 13 or older.
Your account (optional)
- You can play without an account. An account is needed only to appear on the leaderboard.
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Your display name is generated by the app. You can generate a new one before you join, but you can't type your own. Once you join, your name can't be changed.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what that removes.
Playing fair
The leaderboard only works if everyone plays honestly. You agree not to:
- use scripts, bots or modified versions of the app to submit answers;
- try to get around how the app records results or calculates streaks;
- interfere with or overload our server, or try to access other people's information.
We may remove results, reset a streak, or close an account that breaks these rules.
The questions and the app
The app is a study aid. We work to make every question and answer correct, but we can't promise there are no mistakes. If you find one, please tell us. The app's design, questions and text belong to us. You may share your own results, but please don't copy the app or its question set.
No guarantees
The app is provided "as is". We may change features, add or remove questions, or pause the leaderboard. We don't guarantee the app will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using the app, including lost streaks. [Have this section reviewed.]
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, the app will ask you to accept the new terms before you use the leaderboard again.
